Many people think science and engineering is hard, and many people think that English is very hard. What would most people think about scientific English? I think they would think it would be very, very hard!
I don’t think so. With the English you have learned in school you can already talk about many important scientific ideas. And with practice, and being OK with making mistakes, you can become great users of scientific English - the world’s number one scientific language! I look forward to working with you and helping you reach that goal.

Certainly the foremost thing I want my students to succeed in gaining is mastery of English. I wouldn't want them to treat learning of English as a temporary hobby, but as a long-life process that develops them professionally. Nowadays, a professional of any discipline, needs English, thus, besides knowing how to communicate, my students should also know how to present ideas in an organized way, give reasons and examples to support those ideas and to conclude by predicting or offering recommendations for future action.

I have always been passionate about teaching. It is central to my past and future as a researcher. I believe teaching can be no more or less than an invitation to a relationship. I think excellent teachers do not wait to be respected by students, but treat them with the same kind of respect. I cannot say enough about how much I have learned from my students. At other times, they bolstered my confidence and instilled enthusiasm in me by talking about my research. Although my passions are for computer science and electronic engineering in particular, my duty is to inspire young minds, provoke their thirst for knowledge, and foster them to become critical and enthusiastic thinkers.
